Rupture & Repair

Return to love faster

For the couple who wants to learn the dance โ€” so the next rupture doesn't last three days.

Monday ยท July 20, 2026 6:00 โ€“ 7:30 PM Pacific Online ยท Zoom $97

You said sorry. So why does it still feel off?

There's a rupture between you and your partner that hasn't fully repaired. And neither of you knows quite what to do about it.

Maybe you tried. You said the words. You apologized. You moved on. Or maybe one of you said "it's fine" when it really wasn't. Or maybe you both fell asleep on opposite sides of the bed with the silent agreement to just pretend it didn't happen.

But the body remembers.

So even though the argument is technically over, something between you is still bracing. Still on guard. Still waiting for the next misstep. And the next time you reach for each other โ€” across the room, across the dinner table, across the sheets โ€” the reach feels different. Heavier. Less certain.

This is what we call the rupture pile-up. Each unrepaired moment stacking on top of the last. A year of small things you "got over" without ever actually coming back to ease. And the marriage that used to feel like home starts to feel like territory you walk carefully across.

And maybe the hardest part: neither of you was ever taught how to actually repair. So when you wanted to come back to each other, you tried. And it landed wrong. Or it made it worse. Or your partner needed something completely different than what you offered, and now you're more hurt than when you started.

You're not failing. You were just never given the map.

Secure love is built every time two nervous systems find their way back to ease.

What the leaders in this work say.

We're not the only ones naming this. The most respected voices in relational and somatic work have been pointing at the same truth for years.

All relationships go through a cycle of harmony, disharmony, and repair. That rhythm is constant. But our culture only acknowledges harmony. When disharmony hits, we panic. We think something's wrong.

Terry Real
Relational therapist ยท author

Repair injuries, misunderstandings, and hurtful behaviors as quickly as possible. The time between injury and repair is critical. During that period, the relationship becomes more threatening as we not only stew and mentally rehearse the injuries, but the rupture also creates fear of abandonment.

Stan Tatkin
PACT founder ยท couples psychobiologist

Our fights are not actually about the dishes. They're about power, control, respect, and foundational questions like: Do I matter? Do you value me?

What this actually is.

Rupture & Repair is a 90-minute live master class with the two of us โ€” Mike and Courtney โ€” on Zoom.

Two parts. Both built for the way you actually live, not for theory.

Part One

Why rupture is the doorway.

We'll teach what rupture actually is โ€” and why most couples are getting it wrong from the very start. We'll show you why rupture is not the failure of your relationship. It's the way two people who love each other live with difference.

We'll lead you through a brief practice for being in rupture without making it worse.

Part Two

The repair framework.

A clean, simple map for how to come back to each other after rupture has happened. Not just in words โ€” in the body.

We'll lead you through the full somatic practice live, with your partner in the room or solo if you're calling partnership in. You'll leave with the framework, the sound bites, and something your body has already done.

Years ago, our ruptures used to last days. Now they rarely last more than an hour. Not because we got perfect โ€” because we got the map.

We don't teach. We practice.

It's somatic.

Courtney is a relational somatic therapist; Mike is a relationship expert. We've held hundreds of couples between us, and we know: information doesn't change a marriage. Embodiment does. We work in the nervous system, the shared relational field, the felt sense โ€” not in the story.

You'll actually do it.

Every Sacred We Master Class includes a guided practice. You won't just learn the framework โ€” you'll move it through your body. Together, or solo if you're calling partnership in.

Two inches wide. Two miles deep.

One specific dynamic. One specific reframe. One specific map. We don't sprawl. We descend. You leave with one thing that can change the next rupture you have.

The moment you own your part is the moment repair becomes possible.

Come if any of this is you.

  • You and your partner fight about small things that aren't really about small things.
  • You've apologized a hundred times and you can still feel the weight of what hasn't actually been repaired between you.
  • You want to apologize and you don't know how โ€” or your apologies have somehow made things worse.
  • You're an individual in partnership or calling in conscious partnership, and you want to learn the dance before it begins.
  • You're a conscious couple wanting to leave a legacy of love โ€” and you know the next layer of intimacy is on the other side of getting this right.

Who this isn't for

This isn't for couples where one partner is dragging the other in, and it isn't a quick fix or therapy. If you need acute clinical support, or you're not both saying yes โ€” we're not the right people, and this won't be the right room.

Mike Elliott and Courtney Wren โ€” The Sacred We

Mike & Courtney.

We're partners โ€” in life, in parenting, in this work. We didn't build The Sacred We from theory. We built it from the ground we were standing on.

Courtney is a relational somatic therapist with seventeen years in the field โ€” she holds the depth, the nervous system, and the mystical thread. Mike is a relationship coach and a men's coach, with over fifteen years of coaching and more than a decade deep in men's work โ€” he holds the masculine presence in the room: the structure, the directness, the ground.

Together, we host The Sacred We Podcast, lead retreats and intensives, and walk with couples through our most intimate work โ€” the 2:2 container.

This master class is the doorway in.

Single payment. No subscription. Your seat is held the moment you reserve.

What you might be wondering.

Will I get access to a replay?

Yes โ€” lifetime access. Within 48 hours of the live class, we'll send you the recording link. You can watch it as many times as you want, share it with your partner so you can do the practices together later, and come back to any moment that needs more landing.

What if I can't make it live?

Come live if you can โ€” the practice in the second half lands deeper when we're walking you through it in real time, with the field of all the couples in the room.

But if life makes live impossible, the replay is yours forever. You can do the master class on your own schedule, with your partner or solo, anytime you need it. Some couples actually find the replay more powerful because they can pause, rewind, and do the practice without time pressure.

Do I need to be in a relationship to come?

No. This master class is for three kinds of humans:

โ€” Partnered people working with their partner in the room with them.

โ€” Partnered people coming on their own because their partner isn't ready yet (we see you, and you can bring the work home).

โ€” Individuals calling in conscious partnership who want to learn the dance before it begins.

The framework is universal. The work lands wherever you are.

Can both my partner and I attend on one ticket?

Yes โ€” please. One screen, the two of you side by side, that's exactly what we want for couples who can come together. The somatic practice in the second half is designed to be done with your partner in the room.

Will I have to share anything personal on camera?

Not at all. You can keep your camera off the whole time if you want. The practice in the second half is something you do quietly with your partner or with yourself โ€” we won't ask anyone to share publicly.

This is a felt experience, not a fishbowl.

Is this therapy?

No. We're not offering treatment โ€” this is a master class. Courtney is a relational somatic therapist by profession and brings that depth into the room, but inside the Sacred We work, we're teaching: framework, practice, embodiment.

If you're in active crisis or need clinical support, please don't make this your only resource. Find a couples therapist alongside.

What if we're in a same-sex or non-traditional relationship?

You're welcome here. The framework we teach is about the dance of relating โ€” the somatic dynamics that happen between two nervous systems, not between specific genders. We use the language of partner and partner rather than gendered roles, so the work lands the same regardless of who you and your partner are.

What time is the class in my time zone?

The live event is at 6:00 PM Pacific on Monday, July 20, 2026. Conversions:

โ€” 7:00 PM Mountain
โ€” 8:00 PM Central
โ€” 9:00 PM Eastern (US)
โ€” 2:00 AM Tuesday in London / 3:00 AM in Europe / 11:00 AM Tuesday in Sydney

If you're outside North America and the live time is impossible โ€” come for the replay. It's yours forever.

How do I join on the day?

The moment you reserve your seat, we'll send you a confirmation email with everything you need. You'll get reminder emails at 24 hours before, 1 hour before, and 15 minutes before โ€” each one has the Zoom link right at the top. Just click and come in.

We open the room ten minutes early so you can settle in and arrive before we begin.

What's your refund policy?

If for any reason this isn't right for you, email us within 7 days of the event and we'll refund you in full โ€” no questions asked.

We'd rather you have what's actually yours than hold money that should be in your hands.

Let love be your legacy.
